Kevin Moore is the General Manager of Automatic Seafood & Oysters. His 30+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, coupled with a desire to lead his team members as a family, marks a career of dedication to Birmingham’s restaurant scene. Originally from Homewood, AL, Moore earned his BA in Marketing and Management from Birmingham-Southern College. He took early jobs in restaurants as a way to help pay for college, but the lifestyle drew him in, and he found himself attracted to the lively atmosphere that the day-to-day of the industry provided. With a passion for hospitality as his foundation, Moore honed his expertise in fine-dining hospitality at some of Birmingham’s most notable establishments, including the James Beard Award-winning Highlands Bar & Grill (where he worked for ten years), Chez Fonfon, and Satterfield’s (where he served as General Manager for over 14 years). A connoisseur of his craft, Moore knows that the ability to be successful stems from making a connection with others and creating a positive environment – for colleagues and guests alike. When he’s not helming the floor at Automatic, Moore enjoys spending time at home with his family.
